Gerry Wall is the founder and President of Wall Communications Inc.
Prior to the formation of Wall Communications in 1993, Gerry held a variety of positions in the private
and public sectors, including Director of Policy Analysis at Bell Canada, Chief of Regulatory Research
and Strategic Planning at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission ("CRTC") and
Vice President, Telecommunications and Strategic Planning at the Canadian Cable Television Association ("CCTA").
As President of Wall Communications, he has successfully completed numerous economic and policy analysis projects
for private and public sector clients in the areas of content (e.g., film production, broadcasting and intellectual
property rights), telephony (e.g., satellite, traditional telephony networks, the Internet, wireless networks, and
cable television networks) and policy measure evaluations (e.g., broadcast regulation, film distribution policy,
technological change in communications and policy governance tools, and the promotion of the creation and distribution
of Canadian new media content and services). Dr. Wall has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan,
an M.A. from McMaster University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toronto.
Kyle Wall (B. Comm., CPA Candidate) has been a Research Associate at Wall Communications since 2016. He is responsible for data collection, analysis and data presentation. Kyle has conducted research on several projects, including federal-government commissioned mobile wireless and broadband pricing studies.
